MERGE VISIBLE on new layer

a very common thing i use is MERGE VISIBLE on new layer-

now i know in config. i can add a MERGE VISIBLE button, which is the equivalent of SHIFT+CTRL+E, but i use SHIFT+CTRL+ALT+E all the time so i can merge things, but on a new layer...how can i do this?

im thinking as i use configurator more and more, that it needs some type of option so that as you add buttons and menu commands, if you could have a little checkbox to add additional CTRL or ALT or SHIFT options to all the commands to extend/tweak these configuator commands....as this is the seventh thing im wishing there was a way to do, unless of course i can add some code in the 'script' box
